“ Great spot for brunch or dinner. Bright and spacious, but I would make a reservation, especially on weekends. Friendly staff and delicious food. ”
“ Had an amazing brunch experience! Our server, Rachel, was fantastic—super attentive, friendly, and made us feel so welcome. She recommended the breakfast sandwich, and wow, it did not disappoint! My partner and I absolutely loved it. The food was delicious, the service was top-notch, and we’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend! ”
“ Excellent place for brunch! Delicious and reasonable price. Not that much variety of the food menu when compare with the beverage. Btw love the vibe of this restaurant. ”
“ Very cool vibe , silverbacks, families, and footy fans!! The commoner burger is the best in the city!!! ”
“ My group of four all really enjoyed the food we ate at The Commoner and thought it was excellent. It was a Friday evening and we were seated right away. The food was served promptly, and the atmosphere was lively, with many animated conversations going on. It was a good choice! ”
“ Quite a pleasant evening spent here with friends. Really liked the paratha eith feta cheese dip and the truffle fries were decent. The nachos were not bad, but nothing special. Very good selection of craft beer with a lot of styles and breweries. Service was friendly and efficient ”
“ Went here for a work Christmas dinner! It was an amazing experience and atmosphere! Servers were very knowledgeable and excellent at suggesting items on the menu! I recommend going here casually or formally for any event! Truffle fries are a must try, great starters and tastes amazing! Chicken wings are not worth 18 dollars for the size of the wings very small. Burger was delicious and the goat cheese salad with added chicken is a must try! ”
“ One of the best places in the neighbourhood, hands down. Amazing food, super cozy and sophisticated ambience, friendly staff (shoutout to Duncan who made our group’s night superb,) if you haven’t been, definitely make it a priority. This is a culmination of 4 separate visits. Overall, I only have good things to say! Cocktails are great, and so is the selection of beer! But for some more detailed notes on the items on the menu that I’ve tried, read below: The Nashville chicken sandwich or plate are amazing, and so is the Poke bowl! Definitely do NOT pass on the donuts! Absolutely incredible! Nachos. Pretty good, too many beans not enough cheese. Huge serving, but not my favourite. The whipped feta app is phenomenal. I’m so glad I tried it after almost passing on it. Parm fries and the aioli are delicious. Great app, or upgrade to the fries. Burgers are fine, but I’d try other items on the menu well before them. Just can’t speak to the tacos but they’re probably great! Also can’t speak to the brunch, but based on the reviews of others, it really doesn’t look like it’s their strength. As a last note, thank you to all the great staff that have tended to us on all the visits. You guys are amazing! ”
